Why we started
MIG Movers began in 2014 because of a pattern that anyone who has moved in Dubai will recognise: a quote of AED 800 over the phone, and an invoice of AED 1,900 by the time the truck was unloaded.
The extras were always technically defensible. Packing materials were not included. Nobody mentioned the wardrobe would need dismantling. The building would not release the service lift, so the crew waited three hours and charged for it. Each item was arguable on its own; together they made the original number meaningless.
So we built the company around the opposite approach. We survey every property before quoting. We put the price in writing, itemised. We include the materials, the dismantling, the reassembly, the insurance and the building paperwork. And then we do not change the number.
12 years and 18,500 moves later, roughly half our work now comes from referrals — which is the only metric in this industry that genuinely means anything.

How we work
Four commitments we do not bend on
These are not marketing lines. They are the operating rules that decide how we quote, who we hire and how we schedule.
Price the whole job, then hold it
We survey before we quote so we can price what is actually there — stairs, long carries, oversized pieces, awkward access. Then we hold that number. It is a harder promise to make than an hourly rate, and it is the entire reason clients come back to us.
Employ the people who do the work
Every mover on your job is on our payroll, trained by us and accountable to a supervisor who will see them again tomorrow. We do not hire crews by the day from labour suppliers, because you cannot build a consistent standard on people you meet that morning.
Own the parts nobody else wants
Moving NOCs, insurance certificates, service-lift bookings, community access permits. This paperwork is the most common reason a Dubai move fails to start on time, and it is our job — not yours.
Finish in one day
We size the crew and the vehicles to the surveyed volume rather than sending a standard team and hoping. If a job genuinely needs two days, we tell you at quotation stage — never on the day when you have already handed back the keys.

Free survey
A surveyor visits, or you walk us through the property on a WhatsApp video call. Either way we see the volume, the access and the awkward pieces before quoting.
- 02
Fixed written quote
You receive an itemised, fixed-price quote within two hours — inclusive of materials, labour, transport and insurance. No hourly meter, no moving-day extras.
- 03
Booking & paperwork
We lock your date and handle the building side: moving NOC, insurance certificate, service-lift reservation and community access permits at both properties.

Packing day
Trained packers wrap everything in export-grade materials, number and label each carton by room, and record it on an inventory sheet you keep a copy of.
- 05
Loading & transit
Floor, doorframe and lift protection goes down first. The load is strapped and braced, then transported in our own GPS-tracked vehicles — never subcontracted.
- 06
Unload & reassemble
Cartons go to the right rooms, furniture is reassembled, appliances reconnected and TVs remounted. Packing debris leaves with us the same day.
